Who We Certify

Three Licenses. One Standard.

The CIFAM curriculum is built to the standards BC's regulators expect — and calibrated to how each license actually practises. Find the pathway written for yours.

01 Regulated by BCCOHP

Dentists

DMD · DDS

BC dentists can provide Botox and dermal fillers with appropriate accredited training such as this program — and your command of maxillofacial anatomy is a head start no other profession shares.

The Dentist Pathway →
02 Regulated by BCCNM

Nurses

LPN · RN · NP

Medical aesthetics is within nursing scope under BCCNM's standards: LPNs and RNs inject on a client-specific order, while NPs can assess, prescribe and inject autonomously.

The Nurse Pathway →
03 Regulated by CPSBC

Physicians

MD

The broadest injectable authority in BC: assess, prescribe and inject both neuromodulators and fillers — and direct nurse injectors as your clinic's medical director.

The Physician Pathway →

Common Inquiries

Do I need to provide models?

No. We provide all models for the hands-on sessions to ensure a diverse range of anatomical cases. This allows you to focus entirely on your technique and assessment.

What is the class size?

We maintain a strict 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio. This ensures every clinician receives personalized mentorship and direct feedback during clinical immersion.

Is this program accredited?

BC's regulators — BCCNM, CPSBC and BCCOHP — do not accredit or endorse private injectables courses, ours or anyone else's. What matters is that your training is defensible: the CIFAM curriculum is built to the standards these regulators expect — competency-based theory, examination, and supervised hands-on injecting with complication management — and your CIFAM certificate documents that training for insurers, employers and colleges.

What are the prerequisites?

Enrollment is exclusive to licensed medical professionals — physicians (MD), dentists (DMD/DDS) and nurses (NP, RN, LPN) — holding a valid license to practise in their jurisdiction.

Which professions can you certify?

Physicians (MD), dentists (DMD/DDS) and nurses — NP, RN and LPN. Because each license follows a different regulatory pathway in BC, we have written a dedicated guide for each: Dentists, Nurses and Physicians.
